It is a word version of the Mastermind board game.
When a game starts the first letter of a hidden

ord will be shown.
You enter a word to try and match the hidden word.
For entering each letter in a word you are allowed 5 seconds.
To find the hidden word you are allowed to try with 5 words.

To play a session of games with your friends you may either
join a session someone else is hosting or host a session online or via email for your friends
to join. You will need to enter your name in the name section which will be saved as a cookie.
Choose how you wish to play then click the 'Network' button at the bottom.
If no option is selected when the 'Network' button is clicked this information will be
hidden.
Join a Session
A
friend of yours has set up a
session for you to join. When the other people they have asked are ready to play, the session
will start. If you have been asked to join a session select this option. Enter your name in
the 'Name Section' below and then click the 'Network' button. If you know the session
letter and number combination enter them here
and then click the
key or the
'Network' button. Incorrect letter and number combinations will be ignored when the
key is used.
Host an Online Session
You may compete with your
friends at the same time. You will be given instructions on what web pages to load and when everyone
has loaded the page,
the session will start.
If you would like to host a session and your friends are waiting to play, select this option.
Enter your name and your friends' names in the 'Name Section' below and then click the
'Network' button.
Host an Email Session
You may compete with
your friends via email. You will be given instructions on what web pages to
load. As soon as you have sent the email(s) you will be able to start the session.
If you would like to host a session with your friends using email, select this
option. Enter your name and your friends' names in the 'Name Section' below and then click the
'Network' button.
Name Section
Enter your name as the first name. To add more names click the 'Add Row' button or the
key to provide another row for you
to add another name.
Robots may play. Robot names are 'Bot' and a number, eg 'Bot1'. Click the 'Add Bot' button to add a
robot.

Hosting an online session
Your friends should be ready to play online now.

When it's their turn to start a game a player may choose a word for the others to find.

How you tell your friends is up to you but here are a couple of suggestions:

After doing so you could paste it into WhatsApp or something similar to tell them how to
start the session.

If clicking on the 'Create Email' button does not work click on
'Copy Game Information' and use your usual email app.
Once your friends have been contacted click

multiple player page. You will have to wait for your friends before you can start playing.

author.
