Drive 'all important' on testing 12th hole

One of the best holes on the course is the 415-yard 12th.

New club champion Matthew Gatrall said: "The drive is all-important - you have to keep the drive away from the right otherwise the shot to the green is blocked by trees. But a drive hit too far left could leave you in heavy rough and means a long shot to the green. Even a well-placed drive on the narrow fairway can still leave a daunting approcah to a realatively small green."

The three-handicapper, who plays for Hampshire Colts, won the Corhampton Club Championship last month with scores of 70, 77.
