An Early Clubhouse

The original clubhouse

Some notes about the photograph

  • The club house was acquired by Mr Newbury and erected by the members close to the bungalow.
  • The bungalow was first occupied in 1969 by Ron Crockford, his family, and Alsation dog.
  • The ball racks for the first tee are in front of the clubhouse.
  • This photograph is the one that was used in the centenary brochure but when the brochure was printed it showed the bungalow at the left hand end of the clubhouse.
  • The photograph was provided by Peter Reeves.
